She will lead the company's global legal organization effective June 25. Bodensteiner comes to SunPower from First Solar where she served as general counsel, project development since 2009.

Bodensteiner has extensive power industry experience, including more than a decade at Calpine serving in various legal related roles such as executive vice president, general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer.
