SunPower Executives to Speak at Key Investor Events in November 2007

SAN JOSE, Calif.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 1, 2007  /PRNewswire/ -- SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar panels, and solar systems, today announced that members of its executive staff will deliver presentations at key investor conferences in November 2007.

On November 6th, SunPower will host its second annual Analyst Day meeting at the Claremont Resort in Berkeley, Calif. The event will be webcast from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with opening remarks from Tom Werner, SunPower's CEO. Other speakers include Tom Dinwoodie, CEO, SunPower Corporation, Systems; Dan Shugar, president, SunPower Corporation, Systems; Bill Mulligan, vice president, research & development; and Howard Wenger, vice president, global business units.

Tom Werner is also scheduled to deliver presentations at the following events:

  --  November 7th at the Pacific Growth Equities 2007 Clean Technology and
      Industrial Growth Conference at 9:00 a.m. PST at the W Hotel in San
      Francisco
  --  November 28th at the Credit Suisse 2007 Annual Technology Conference
      at 9:30 a.m. Mountain Time at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, Ariz.


On November 15th, Julie Blunden, vice president, public policy and corporate communications, will speak at the Bank of America Energy Conference being held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Key Biscayne, Fla. Her presentation will begin at 12:45 p.m. Eastern Time.
