SAN JOSE, Calif., Apr. 16, 2007 /PRNewswire/ -- SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high-efficiency, commercially available solar cells, panels and systems, today announced the first nationwide program to support a network of solar power system dealers that sell, install and service SunPower products. SunPower currently works with more than 70 dealers across the U.S.
Dealers selected to participate in the SunPower Premier Dealer program have agreed to provide customers with superior levels of service, including expedited turnaround on customer inquiries and participation in a post- installation site inspection program. SunPower Premier Dealers also complete regular training in the specifications and installation of SunPower products.
